   <title><![CDATA[Compliance and Privacy Officer (PA, Reading)]]></title>
   <description>&lt;p&gt;The Compliance and Privacy Officer is responsible to &amp;nbsp;implement and oversee the compliance and HIPAA privacy program for The Reading Hospital Medical Group (TRHMG) and to identify, prevent, and detect regulatory and compliance issues.&amp;nbsp; TRHMG&amp;rsquo;s compliance program, policies and procedures are consistent with the Compliance Plan for The Reading Hospital and its related entities.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Compliance and Privacy Officer (CPO) shall be sufficiently independent in his or her position so as to protect against any conflicts of interest that may arise from performing assigned duties and compliance duties.&amp;nbsp; The CPO shall serve as the focal point for compliance and privacy activities for TRHMG and shall have direct access to the TRHMG Board of Directors and the Executive Director.&amp;nbsp; The CPO shall report directly to the Executive Director of TRHMG and indirectly to the Chief Compliance Officer of The Reading Hospital.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The CPO&amp;rsquo;s duties and responsibilities shall include, with assistance of counsel or other experts where appropriate:&lt;/p&gt;

   <description>&lt;p&gt;The Reading Hospital and Medical Center&apos;s Facilities Management Department, an organization that employs over 100 employees and supports a +650 bed acute care hospital that maintains over +3M SF of buildings and includes service, maintenance, skilled crafts, biomedical, administrative, and professional staff, seeks to hire a Project Manager. The Project Manager reports to our Senior Project Manager and will join a growing team of 4 professionals in administering our Capital Project Program. The primary responsibilities include managing assigned projects from budgeting, programming and planning to design through construction including fitout and financial closeout. The Project Management Group is responsible for the construction and renovations of all on campus and off-campus buildings and infrastructure projects. The annual active Capital Project workload over the last 6 years has averaged between 50-70 projects with $40-60M/yr in WIP.&amp;nbsp; We are currently budgeted to add several new construction and large renovation/expansion projects which are planned to start this fiscal year and will increase our WIP by +$100M/year over the next several years.&amp;nbsp; Our current project queue includes over 100 projects totaling +$320M.&lt;/p&gt;

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Nursing Responsibilities:                                                 100%
o Assists physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and registered nurses with examinations, treatments, special tests, and procedures. 
o Reviews patient charts, checks patients in, obtains and records patients&apos; weight, blood pressure, urine samples, blood samples, and medical history, and assesses reasons for patient visits. 
o Records and reports observed symptoms, reactions, treatments, and changes in the patients&apos; conditions. 
o Administers medications; applies sterile dressings. 
o Maintains and stocks inventory of office and/or clinical supplies, as appropriate to the position. 
o Educates patients regarding health-related issues. 
o Prepares laboratory specimens for delivery and receives results for processing in the patient’s medical record. 
o Responds to patient resuscitation calls.
o Practices safety, environmental, and/or infection control methods. 
o Administers specified medication, orally or by subcutaneous or intramuscular injection, and notes time and amount on patients&apos; charts.    
o Schedule follow up appointments, consults, tests as needed.
o Provides direction to other nursing and clinical personnel.
o Performs other related duties deemed necessary by the Site Supervisor/Coordinator.
